Chico von Kestrup is a gorgeous 1-2 year old German Shepherd. This cuddly bi-color boy has come so far in his time at the rescue.  He has completely eaten up all the encouragement and guidance -- and it shows.  He walks great on leash and strolls calmly around town. When passing other dogs, he pays them no mind.  Chico is very attentive and loves to cuddle up at home.  Although still quite young, Chico seems to have  a nice calmer energy.   He’s more people-oriented than dog park aficionado, but he meets other dogs well and then goes to find his space.  Everyone at the rescue is so proud of Chico going from scared and insecure to cuddly and social.  Now he’s ready to head off into a home of his own (without cats) so he can continue to grow and impress his new family and all who come to know him.
